Midori Denise started learning how to sew at 13, but decided to start perfecting her craft when she desired to start making her clothes for themed events at 21.
Midori Denise first wanted to bring a new sense of style to the Bay Area by opening a boutique filled with the hottest new styles she sourced from LA. But she realized that she wanted to express herself a bit more; instead of using her unique style to source and sell the hottest garments in her boutique, she decided she wanted to sew and design her clothing to sell. And after learning about the negative impacts the fast fashion industry has on the environment, Midori decided that sewing her designs herself with sustainable materials for her business would be better for the environment.
